Welcome to Fourth Grade! This is my 17th year working in the Big Hollow School District and I am excited to be teaching Fourth Grade again this year. I have 18+ years of experience at the elementary level and 4 years as an administrator. I received my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Truman University and a master’s degree from Concordia University in Educational Administration.
I have three children. My first daughter is married, an entrepreneur, and has a 9 month old daughter, my middle daughter is an Occupational Therapist, and my son is a Chemist. I have been married my whole adult life to my best friend since high school.
When I am not teaching I enjoy traveling, gardening, reading, scrapbooking, and spending time with family. I have traveled 48 of the 50 states and have traveled to Europe and Asia. I love to share these experiences with students.
A strong parent-teacher relationship is important for a successful school year. I encourage you to contact me any time throughout the school year by e-mail, phone, or note if you have any questions or concerns. I look forward to a great year working with your child in fourth grade!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Coolidge
